Directions to campus

The NS sprinter train Wijchen – Zutphen stops at Arnhem Presikhaaf Station. From Arnhem Presikhaaf it’s just a short walk to the campus, 5-10 minutes. This is the quickest way to the campus if you live near one of the stations on this route. The stations are: Wijchen – Nijmegen Dukenburg – Nijmegen Goffert –  Nijmegen – Nijmegen Lent –  Elst – Arnhem Zuid – Arnhem Centraal – Arnhem Velperpoort – Arnhem Presikhaaf – Velp – Rheden – Dieren – Brummen – Zutphen.

Are you coming by train from another direction? Then you need to get out at Arnhem Centraal. There you can switch to the NS sprinter in the direction of Zutphen. From Arnhem Centraal it's just 6-7 minutes to Arnhem Presikhaaf.

From Arnhem Centraal station you can take the number 6 to the HAN campus. The bus stop is in front of the main entrance. This bus also stops at the bus stops Willemsplein, Velperplein and Hugo de Grootstraat. 

Are you coming by bus from Arnhem Noord? Then switch at the Willemsplein bus stop to the number 6. 

Are you coming by bus from Arnhem Zuid? Or by bus from a village to the south of Arnhem? Switch at Velperplein to the number 6. 

Are you coming by bus from Duiven or Westervoort? Get off at the Hugo de Grootstraat bus stop and take the number 6 on the other side of the road.

Are you coming from Arnhem Velperpoort station? Get one of the following buses:

• 1 to Velp; get out at the Bronbeek bus stop. From there it's a 10 minute walk to HAN.
• 26 to Dieren via Doesburg / 27 to Doetinchem via Giesbeek. If you take one of these buses, get out at Presikhaaf station, then it's a 5-10 minute walk to HAN.
• 331 to Velp Zuid; get out at the Ijssellaan/HAN bus stop. You can reach the campus from the south side.

If a bus is really full, don't worry. You can wait and get on the next one which might have more room. Just check the departure board to see when the next bus will arrive.

Are you travelling on the Arriva train Venray – Nijmegen? Get out at Nijmegen Heyendaal Station. That’s right next to the campus.

Coming from another direction? You can switch in Nijmegen and get on the Arriva train to Nijmegen Heyendaal. That takes just a few minutes. A bus is a good alternative because they go much more frequently and are also very quick (5 mins), see below.

From Nijmegen Station, take bus number 10. The number 10 has it's own platform away from the other bus platforms, platform M. It's in front of the bike parking. Just follow all the students! In the morning a number 10 leaves every 4 minutes. So don't worry if the bus is full, just wait for the next one. The bus trip takes about 5 minutes. Get off at the first stop, Heyendaal Station, and from there it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the campus.

Are you coming from the direction Wijchen or Nijmegen Lent? Then take the number 15 bus. It also stops at Nijmegen Dukenburg station and at various bus stops in Hartert, Grootstal and the area around Radboud University.

Are you coming from the direction of Druten? Then take the number 12 bus. It also stops at Nijmegen Goffert station, Neerboscheweg and various bus stops in Grootstal and the area around Radboud University.
