Housing shortage

Finding student housing in Arnhem or Nijmegen is difficult. That's because there’s currently a housing shortage in the Netherlands. Are you a student from the EU starting at HAN in February 2025? Check out our tips and advice on housing that will help you find a suitable student room. Haven't found a room by 1 January? We advise postponing your studies at HAN.

Are you an international student and under 30? And will you be doing a bachelor, master or exchange program at HAN University of Applied Sciences? Then the HAN Housing Office can help you with student housing in Arnhem or Nijmegen. Rooms are available for 1 semester or 1 year only. Non-EU/EEA students and exchange students have priority.

The Open Day on 18 January is online, so you can join from anywhere in the world. The program? You decide! Talk to students and lecturers from your favorite degree program and discover if HAN is the right choice for you. Or join our general chat and ask us everything you want to know about admission, housing, visas and scholarships. All from the comfort of your own home!
