Language course — Cambridge Exam Preparation

The course starts Thursday 14 November 2024 in Arnhem. The timeschedule is 18:30-20:45. 

The next course starts in spring 2025 in Nijmegen.

During class we study sample Cambridge exams. You’ll get to know the different parts of the exam. Then you practice in class and get feedback and tips. If you wish, you can practice further at home.

Study materials will be provided. Want even more practice? You can purchase a bundle of sample exams. Your instructor will advise you during your first class about which bundle to buy.

You need to register and pay for the exam yourself. Visit the British Council website for costs, locations and exam dates.

After the course, you receive a certificate of participation from the HAN Language Center. And you’ll be fully prepared to take the Cambridge exam at C1 or C2 level. Once you pass the exam? You’ll receive a Cambridge Certificate that’s valid for life! Below you can see what that means.

C1 Advanced (CAE)
This certificate shows that your English is at the level expected of a business professional or undergraduate university student. You can communicate in social, academic and professional settings.

C2 Proficiency (CPE)
This certificate shows that your English is at the level of a highly trained, near-native speaker. You have mastered English and can use it fluently in demanding research, academic and professional situations. This is the highest Cambridge English qualification.
