Practical info for the NMR course
You’d like to register for the NMR course? On this page you can find some practical information.

The course is taught entirely in English. Therefore, the following applies: your English must be at level B2 (CEFR) or higher. It is your own responsibility to ensure that your English level is sufficient for the course.
If the entire group consists of Dutch‑speaking participants, the sessions may be conducted in Dutch after consultation with the group. The course materials will still be provided in English.
The course materials will consist of PowerPoints and assignments to practice on your own.
You will also receive a copy of the book Basic One- and Two-Dimensional NMR Spectroscopy (by Horst Friebolin) to use as a reference work.
There is no written exam at the end of this course. If you attend all sessions and participate actively, you will receive a certificate of participation from HAN at the end of the course.
After finishing the course:
- You will know how to use the right NMR technique to solve a problem.
- You will be able to recognise artefacts in NMR spectra.
- You will know what to look for in quantitative NMR.
You can find the costs for this course on the overview page.
Payment arrangement
It is possible to agree on the terms for making (partial) payments (you can choose up to 3 terms).
