Practical info for the NMR course

This course is thaught in English. If the entire group consists of Dutch‑speaking participants, the sessions may be conducted in Dutch after consultation with the group. The course materials will still be provided in English.

The course materials will consist of PowerPoints and assignments to practice on your own.

You will also receive a copy of the book Basic One- and Two-Dimensional NMR Spectroscopy (by Horst Friebolin) to use as a reference work.

There is no written exam at the end of this course. If you attend all sessions and participate actively, you will receive a certificate from HAN at the end of the course.

After finishing the course:

• You will know how to use the right NMR technique to solve a problem.
• You will be able to recognise artefacts in NMR spectra.
• You will know what to look for in quantitative NMR.
