Quality and study success
Keuzegids 2027: HAN counts 11 top-rated degree programs

The Keuzegids Hbo provides insight into the quality and study success in bachelor and associate degree programs across the Netherlands. Programs are compared within the full-time, part-time, and work-study categories based on student evaluations from the National Student Survey (NSS) as well as national figures on study success, enrollment, and the labor market.
Newcomers and returning top programs
Industrial Engineering & Management earned Top Programs status for the first time this year, both in its bachelor and associate degree formats. Health Care Management also returned to the list after a one-year absence.
Dental Hygiene and Civil Engineering maintained their strong performance, receiving Top Program status for the thirteenth time. And the School of Education now counts four Top Programs, reflecting the consistent quality of its teacher education offerings.
Two HAN programs also achieved the highest score in their categories nationwide. Teacher Education in Health Care and Welfare leads with 93 points, while Learning & Development in Organisations ranks first among Human Resources programs with 91 points.
“We're incredibly proud of our 11 top-rated programs. And of the 19 HAN degree programs that received four stars. That's just as valuable and special, and it’s wonderful to see this number growing in recent years! All praise goes to our lectureres and other staff who make these programs – and thus these results—possible.”
