For whom?

Who is this online, post-graduate course suitable for?

  • Relevant for anyone with a high interest in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry and the basic principles of bio-inormatics
  • Intended for technicians or researchers (in life sciences, chemistry or related fields) interested in acquiring, deepening or refreshing knowledge in life sciences
  • In case of a MBO (post-secondary vocational education or college) as a prior education; then secondary laboratory education is required (in any major)
  • In case of bachelor/master as a prior education; then prior basic knowledge in life sciences, chemistry or other related field is desirable
  • This course is also a perfect foundation for the Master in Molecular Life Sciences (link), but can also be followed independently

English fluency

The online Molecular & Cell Biology course is taught in English. Therefore, to follow this course, you need to be fluent in English.

What level do you need? At least B2 (CEFR: Common European Framework of Reference). This equivalent to IELTS 6.0 and TOEFL iBT 80.

It is your own responsibility to check whether your English level is sufficient for taking the course.
