Practical info

This course is thaught in English.

To follow this course, you need to be fluent in English. What level do you need? At least B2 (CEFR: Common European Framework of Reference). This equivalent to IELTS 6.0 and TOEFL iBT 80.

It is your own responsibility to check whether your English level is sufficient for taking the course.

The course materials include PowerPoints and assignments for you to practice on. The PowerPoints will be shared with the participants afterwards.

There is no exam or assessment. You will receive a certificate of participation for 100% attendance.

You will have insight into the principles of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Third Generation Sequencing (TGS). You will understand the advantages and limitations of both sequencing technologies. You have deepened your knowledge of the steps involved in processing, visualizing and interpreting data.
