HEQED

HEQED (Health Equity in Education) promotes health equity in higher education through awareness, research, and the development of practical tools and strategies. The project focuses on inclusive educational practices and collaboration among educational institutions, health organizations and policy makers to address health disparities and create an equitable educational environment where everyone can thrive.

In addition to HAN, the following partners are involved in the HEQED project: Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL, Norway); University of Zaragoza (Unizar, Spain); Arcada University of Applied Sciences (Finland); NGO Handicap International - Humanity & Inclusion. Go to the project page for more information.

KEY AREA

HAN STANDS FOR FAIR HEALTH

HAN's key area in Fair Health focuses on reducing socioeconomic health disparities. People with lower levels of education or income live shorter and less healthy lives. We pay attention to these differences in our education and research, and we want to pass this on to all current and future professionals.
