Our graduates find work in the biotech industry and research institutes. With this degree, you have profound knowledge of chemistry. And you have the skills to effectively manage projects. This mix of science and organizational skills makes you an ideal candidate for the following positions:

  • Project leader

    As a Project Leader, you manage projects of at least 3 to 4 months. You communicate with colleagues to ensure the project runs smoothly. And you communicate with management and representatives of other departments on aspects like quality assurance, industry guidelines, statistics, patents and financial issues.

  • Researcher

    As a researcher within chemistry, you'll be involved in planning and conducting experiments and analysing results. You'll usually carry out your experiments and research on your own, but you'll be part of a larger team and will share your findings and relevant information with professional colleagues. 

  • Lab Manager

    In this position you bring together your management skills and knowledge of safety and lab procedures to ensure that laboratories operate smoothly. You are responsible for all aspects of the lab, including equipment, employees, supplies, software, and documentation.

     

  • PhD candidate

    With this Master of Science you can also go on to do your PhD.
