DAY 2 OF THE INTERNATIONAL WEEK BUILT ENVIRONMENT

Day 2 features a workshop on urban climate change and heat stress, followed by a group project on planning a railroad underpass. The day concludes with City Escape Arnhem: a city-wide puzzle adventure with drinks and snacks.
Climate Change in Urban Areas (1/3)
Workshop with Frank Kersten and Luis del Romero Renau
Learn more about the impact of global warming on urban quality of life. The workshop will begin with two lectures, one of which will be delivered by Luis del Romero Renau, a lecturer at the University of Valencia. These lectures will explore practical examples of measures cities can adopt to combat heat stress - an increasingly pressing issue that demands innovative approaches to urban planning. Following the lectures, students will work in groups on assignments focused on heat stress in Valencia, culminating in presentations of their findings on Friday.
