Research Center for Architecture in Health
To develop an empathetic living environment, we combine insights from social science, engineering and technology. This multidisciplinary approach is essential to bridge the gap between what people want and need and what is spatially and technologically possible.
- Smart living
- Building socially responsible
- Cross-over research and design
- Smart living environment for healthy living
Applied ResearchWe conduct scientific, practice-oriented research to develop knowledge that contributes to the 4th dimension of living: what makes people feel good?
Staff & OutputThe results contribute to the development of an empathetic living environment that promotes various aspects of health and well-being. These results are translated into spatial and constructional concepts and instruments that make this environment possible.
Professor: Masi Mohammadi
Masi Mohammadi and her team are looking for smart architectural and technological means and methods that make it possible for people to live independently and healthy at home for longer. It builds a bridge between social science and technology.
School: Built Environment
In the Academy of Built Environment, more than 1,200 students follow a full-time or part-time course in construction and infrastructure. We provide minors, courses and (customized) training, and we conduct groundbreaking practice-oriented research.
