Practical info for Basics in Bioinformatics

The course is taught by an expert from the HAN School of Applied Biosciences and Chemistry. It combines theory with interactive, practical sessions. Each day includes a mix of theoretical instruction with interactive practical assignments that allow you to apply the concepts you learn. 

The Introduction to Bioinformatics course is taught entirely in English (if the entire group consists of Dutch-speaking participants, the course may be taught in Dutch by mutual agreement). All course materials are in English.

Basic prior knowledge in biology/life sciences is recommended. 
 

The course materials include PowerPoints and assignments for you to practice on. Slides and homework assignments will be shared with participants. Preparatory materials will be provided in advance. All materials are provided digitally.
 

There is no formal exam or assessment. Participants who attend all sessions (100%) and actively participate will receive a certificate of participation.
