Warning:
Extremely hot weather!

This week will be exceptionally hot, with temperatures well above 30 degrees. The KNMI has therefore issued a Code Orange warning, effective from 12:00 on Wednesday. Extreme heat can affect your health, even if you are normally in good condition.
What does Code Orange mean for HAN students and staff?
HAN buildings will remain open as usual. Most locations are equipped with air conditioning, and it is still relatively cool inside. Locations, schools and degree programs will decide whether educational activities need to be adjusted or rescheduled and will inform students and staff of any changes. Exams will go ahead as planned.
It is also strongly recommended to shorten, modify, or reschedule outdoor activities or events where possible.
We ask all students and staff to prepare well for the heat and stay alert to its effects. Drink plenty of water, protect yourself from the sun, and look out for one another.
