Week of the International Experience at HAN (WOTIE)
This year's Week of the International Experience is from 17 to 21 November 2025. This week is all about highlighting the value of international experiences for all students. By connecting Dutch and international students, we discover new perspectives and cultures together.

DIVERSITY
As one of the largest universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands, HAN hosts a dynamic community of 34,000 students. This includes 1,900 international students from 112 different nationalities, making our two campuses in Nijmegen and Arnhem truly global environment of learning. With 91 programs available, including 15 fully taught in English, we offer diverse academic opportunities to help you build your future.
Week of the International Experience
We celebrate the Week of the International Experience every year around the Day of the International Student (17 November). This year that week is 17 to 21 November 2025. This national initiative, launched by Nuffic (the Dutch organisation for internationalisation of education) , highlights the value of international experiences for all students. The week puts both international students and Dutch students with international experience in the spotlight.

The Week of the International Experience is a chance to celebrate what makes HAN truly international: our students.
