Starting Friday 6 June, NS personnel will be on strike, which may lead to fewer trains running or none at all. If you travel to HAN by public transport, your journey could be affected.
As it stands now, there are planned 24-hour strikes in different regions.
The current schedule (subject to change) is as follows:
6 June - central region
10 June - western region
12 June - northwestern and eastern regions
16 June - northern and southern region
Classes and exams will go ahead
Classes will go ahead as usual. Are you unable to get to HAN on time and do you have an educational activity with an attendance requirement? Then contact your lecturer.
Exams will also go ahead. Do you have an exam that you really cannot attend on time? Then cancel your registration in Osiris. Also specify in the comments field that you cannot attend the exam because of the public transport strike. This way you won't lose an exam opportunity.
For employees:
Have no other means of transport? And do you have to be at HAN because of the nature of your work? Then work out a solution in consultation with your manager or team.
Check travel planners and leave on time
Before you leave, check your travel planner (e.g. 9292.nl) and allow for longer travel times.
We hope the strikes won’t affect you too much and that you’ll be able to get to HAN on time.
