Welcome to the HAN Campus
It’s about to begin! In the week of August 24, we will welcome you to the HAN Campus. We are looking forward to meeting you in person! On this page, you can find all the information for a great introduction Week in the Electrical and Electronic Engineering program and the best possible start of your studies!
Intro program Electrical and Electronic Engineering
The introduction programme for the Academy of Engineering and Automotive is a camp that runs from Monday morning until Friday morning. This means that you will be staying together in a large tent on the school campus. We will provide all the necessary facilities, including beds, showers, meals, and, of course, plenty of fun activities! You will be assigned to a group with your classmates, giving you the perfect opportunity to get to know each other right away. We will provide breakfast on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, as well as lunch on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. A delicious evening meal will also be served on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Registration
Intro program On Monday 24 August, there is an International Welcome Day that is mandatory for all international students. This is a free program.
Keep an eye on this page. More info on the introduction program and registration will follow as soon as it's available.

Costs
The complete introduction camp costs €145. This includes 4 overnight stays, 4 breakfasts and lunch and 4 evening meals.

If you have questions about the AEA introduction you can contact Stijn at intro.aea@han.nl. Stijn is also available during the summer vacations for questions. If you have a general question about the introduction or about enrolling in your program, you can contact ASK HAN.

Unsubscribe
We expect all students to be there for the introduction in the week of 24 August. Students who start later often cannot catch up and may be hindered since some classes and projects are obligatory. If you are unable to start on time or if, after registering, you are unable to attend, please contact the first year team directly: intro.aea@han.nl. The gernal terms and conditions explain whether you are entitled to a (partial) refund. You can find the cancellation policy under section 5.
OPEN UP AREA
The Open Up Area is your base camp in the Introduction Week. For example, You can go here with questions about your program, or if you cannot find the building or room. It is the meeting place on the HAN campus with a cozy terrace and (live) music.
International School of Business Community
The ISB community is a place to broaden your horizons. To get the most out of yourself. And to change the world around you. Become a member of the Photography Club or the Debate Team. Play volleyball, soccer and basketball with students from all over the world. Or go to one of the many masterclasses organized by students. Check out the community on Facebook and Instagram. There you'll find upcoming events and trips, stories by students, alumni experiences, travel inspiration and daily updates. Share your ideas and your voice will be heard!

ESN Arnhem Activities
ESN Arnhem is a student organization that hosts events for international students, such as workshops and parties. ESN Arnhem aims to create an inclusive community where students from all nationalities can come together, using their experience and backgrounds to create unique events, and parties and learn new skills in the process, by empowering students to shape their own student experience. ESN Arnhem also organizes an introduction program for all first-year students. These activities are not mandatory, but they are a lot of fun to attend. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to sign up and there are no costs involved.
