It’s about to begin! We will welcome you to the HAN Campus on Monday, 24 August. We are looking forward to meeting you in person! The intro runs from August 24 to August 28, 2026. Intro Program International School of Business
The International School of Business, together with the HAN International Office organizes the introduction week for all first-year students of the Communication course. You should not miss the introduction week! It is the best way to get to know your fellow students, HAN and Arnhem.

Registration
On Monday, the International Welcome Day is mandatory for all international students. On Tuesday, the Meet & Greet Session is mandatory for all students.

Costs
The introduction week costs €20, with an additional €7,50 if you want to join us to the Open Air Museum.

Unsubscribe
We expect all students to be there for the introduction in the week of August 24. Students who start later often cannot catch up and may be hindered since some classes and projects are obligatory. If you can’t start on time, please contact the first year team directly: Firstyear.isb@han.nl.

You are on the brink of taking a big step in your life. Full of excitement… student life awaits. HAN literally opens its doors for you during the introduction week.
International School of Business Community
The ISB community is a place to broaden your horizons. To get the most out of yourself. And to change the world around you. Play volleyball, soccer and basketball with students from all over the world. Or go to one of the many masterclasses, workshops, dinners, and discussions. Check out the community on Facebook and TikTok. There you'll find upcoming events and trips, stories by students, alumni experiences, travel inspiration and daily updates. Share your ideas and your voice will be heard!
ISA Activities
ISA is a student organization that hosts events for international students, such as workshops and parties. ISA aims to create an inclusive community where students from all nationalities can come together, using their experience and backgrounds to create unique events, and parties and learn new skills in the process, by empowering students to shape their own student experience. ISA also organizes an introduction program for all first-year students. These activities are not mandatory, but they are a lot of fun to attend. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to sign up and there are no costs involved.
Good to know
How do I get to the HAN campus?
The HAN campus in Arnhem is easily accessible by bike, public transport and car. The campus is within cycling distance of Arnhem city center and you can easily walk to it from Arnhem-Presikhaaf railway station.
General Terms and Conditions
We set some important house rules during the introduction week. For example about medical conditions and safety, but also about alcohol, drugs and smoking. If you participate in the Intro, then you agree with the general terms and conditions that we have drawn up for you.
Prefer not to be photographed?
During the intro, pictures and videos will be made to show everybody how nice our intro is. Do you have objections? Tell the photographer or cameraman on the spot or mail to openupintro@han.nl.

There are some important need-to-knows before you arrive in the Netherlands and a number of things you need to take care of. Also, the International Office will be in touch with you for an online part of the intro that's prior to the introduction on location at HAN.
