DAY 4 OF THE INTERNATIONAL WEEK BUILT ENVIRONMENT
Day 5 wraps up the week with a bike tour to Alliander, exploring Dutch living and sustainability projects. After lunch, participants cycle to the Open Air Museum in Arnhem to experience Dutch history and culture, concluding the International Week Built Environment 2025.

Field trip by bike with Marwin Jurjus
Together with a group of HAN students, we’ll embark on a bike tour, passing various buildings, new construction sites, and sustainability projects. Discover how the Dutch live! (If you’re unable to cycle, we’ll arrange an alternative solution.)

A 30-minute bike ride takes us to the Open Air Museum in Arnhem. This unique museum and park showcases the everyday life and culture of ordinary people in the Netherlands, featuring antique houses, farms, and factories from various historical periods. The museum also houses a collection of historical clothing and jewelry and offers demonstrations of traditional paper production, linseed oil production, and beer brewing. (If you’re unable to cycle, we’ll arrange an alternative solution.)
