Student City Challenge 2021
On 28 May Arnhem Studiestad and partners are organizing the Student City Challenge 2021 on the HAN Campus in Arnhem.
Working together on inspiring projects
The challenge is a 15-hour event where students tackle issues that can innovate and boost the student climate in Arnhem. These are real issues that local government (City of Arnhem), research institutes and the business community are now facing. During the challenge, 2 nd - and 3 rd -year students use ideation and design to work towards an innovative business case. See it like a pressure cooker where students are continuously fed and stimulated through associations, emotions and intuition based on the Creative Inventive Thinking method.
Students from different degree programs explore the issues together in an interdisciplinary setting and under the guidance of a coach. This is a great practical case for students to get acquainted with entrepreneurship. Interdisciplinary cooperation, workshops on social design, biomimicry, business model canvas and stakeholder validation are all part of the program. A pitch fair will be held at the end for the City Deal Kennis Maken and Ondernemers Kontakt Arnhem entrepreneur network. A jury will select the 3 best teams for a public pitch. There are prizes too!
Arnhem Studiestad works together with Citymarketing Arnhem, HAN University of Applied Sciences, ArtEZ University of the Arts, Van Hall Larenstein and ROC Rijn IJssel to make Arnhem an even more attractive city for study and work.
