Business Fights Poverty

The UN's first #SustainableDevelopmentGoal is Eradicating Poverty. The third week of October is internationally recognized as the Week of Poverty.

Professor Ron Tuninga and Dr. Ingrid Van Rompay-Bartels from the Center of International Business Research (CIBR) have involved international business students in designing a business idea that contributes to the eradication of poverty.

On the 15th of October Dr. Dereje Wordofa (United Nations), Jasper Kort (Dutch Embassy South Sudan) and Vice Chancellor Dr. Ben Honyenuga (Ho Technical University) will share insights on the topic. Ten teams of students from HAN International School of Business and Ho Technical University in Ghana will have 5 minutes to pitch their idea to an international jury.

The best ideas will receive LinkedIn endorsements for their Presentation and Interpersonal Skills from the judges board.
