The HAN International Introduction starts on Thursday 26 January. Two days full of fun and information. Information about your program, your classmates and your host university. Will you be joining in? Find out here what to expect.
the intro program
Your introduction days will start on Thursday 26 January 2023. You will receive a number of newsletters from HAN International Office and your Exchange Coordinators with more information in December and January. During the introduction you will receive all the information you need to start your exchange program. You will also get the chance to meet your fellow exchange and other international students and join in various fun activities. Below is a brief overview of the planned activities. You'll receive more information about the start of the semester by email and you'll get access to certain groups and activities.
Introduction to your exchange program

Information session about your exchange program:
- Meet your fellow exchange students and coordinators.
- Receive information about your exchange program
- Receive your class schedule/timetable

International Welcome Day
Today you will meet the staff of HAN International Office and meet our international student associations and other international students from different study programs. You will also receive important information about living in Arnhem and The Netherlands.
Time: 10:00 - 14:00
Location: Arnhem Campus, Ruitenberglaan 31, Arnhem in the Canteen area (ground floor)

Jump Square, Arnhem
NOTE: You may join this activity only if you DO NOT have classes that day!!
Time Activity Location 12:00 - 14:30 Jump Square, the nicest (indoor) trampoline park of the Netherlands! Lunch is included. Jump Square, Van Oldenbarneveldtstraat 91, Arnhem
Costs: this activity, including lunch, is free of charge!
How will you get there?
- if you live near Campus, you can meet the group at 11:00 at the back entrance of the Business Building (on the side of the main road) and walk or take a bus to Arnhem City
- if you live in Arnhem city centre, you can walk directly to Jump Sqaure.
City trip to Amsterdam
NOTE: You may register for this trip only if you DO NOT have classes that day!!
Come join us on a visit to Amsterdam! Want to explore the city by boat? Discover what is behind the iconic Heineken Star? Or do you want to go ice skating at the 'museum square'? It only costs 15 euro and the trip includes bus transportation. A link to the registration & payment form will follow.

How do I get to the HAN campus?
The HAN campus in Arnhem is easily accessible by bike, public transport and car. The campus is within cycling distance of Arnhem city center and you can easily walk to it from Arnhem-Presikhaaf railway station.
General Terms and Conditions
We set some important house rules during the introduction week. For example about medical conditions and safety, but also about alcohol, drugs and smoking. If you participate in the Intro, then you agree with the general terms and conditions that we have drawn up for you.
Don't you want to be photographed?
During the intro, pictures and video's will be made to show everybody how nice our intro is. Do you have objections? Tell the photographer or cameraman on the spot or mail to email@example.com.
