Many social issues do not stop at international borders. Early February 2023 we organized the HAN International Week Health & Social Studies. During this week students and lecturers shared experiences and knowledge related to the international context of health and social work.

At HAN students develop into global citizens who approach the world with an open mind and a borderless and intercultural perspective. The International Week Health and Social Studies contributes to that mission. Topics like refugees, inclusion and stress reduction are part of the general program of the week. Missed out? Day 1 - Wednesday

Composer and artist Merlijn Twaalfhoven, journalist Els van Driel, healthcare researcher Petar Jerčić and others shared their experiences and knowledge on the 1st day.

Learn more about refugees, human connections, serial killers and positivity during war with Sander de Kramer among others on the 2nd day of the HAN International Week

Diversity expert Seyda Kutsal, music therapist and researcher Martina de Witte, a documentary about refugee Durrab and a talkshow on the last day.
