The annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE) will take place in Rotterdam this year. A great opportunity to invite our partner universities abroad to a partner day in Arnhem and Nijmegen.

HAN is a member of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), a European organization dedicated to internationalizing higher education worldwide and sharing knowledge about it. This year, the EAIE's annual conference will take place in Rotterdam, from 26 to 29 September.
A great opportunity for HAN's International Office to invite our partner universities abroad to a partner day prior to the conference. So on 25 September, we’ll bring together the contacts of our international partners for an inspiring program at our two campuses.

Rob Verhofstad, the chair of our Executive Board, will welcome guests from 20 different countries to our campus in Arnhem. They’ll get a tour of our Engineering department and an introduction to the Smart Grid. At the Business department, they’ll hear about our international student community.
In the afternoon the guests will be in Nijmegen. They’ll start at the Health Xperium and then get a tour of the different departments. At the info market, international office and the internationalization coordinators of the various schools will provide info about our offerings for exchange students. Also a perfect opportunity to make connections and network!
We’ll conclude the day with a walk and dinner in the center of Nijmegen.

HAN has 350 partner institutions abroad in 53 different countries, where 600 HAN students study abroad for a semester each year. With our partner universities, we offer student projects as part of the curriculum, participate in lecturer exchanges and conduct joint research. A perfect example of Open up new horizons for our students, lecturers and researchers and therefore also for our work field and region.
